Delete your Burger Farm account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Burger Farm app, published by Burger Farm Private Limited, and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete from the app
- Open the Burger Farm app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account, and confirm.
The account closes immediately and you are signed out.
Request deletion without the app
Send us your registered mobile number and we will delete the account.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, date of birth, preferences and favourites.
- Saved vehicles.
- Notification tokens and device sign-ins.
- Wallet balance and Farm Grains are forfeited and cannot be restored.
What is kept, and why
- Order and payment records are kept for the period tax law requires (GST records: six years from the end of the financial year). Personal details are removed after the retention period in our Privacy Policy.
- Refund and dispute records are kept until the matter is closed, plus the statutory period after that.
- A hash of the mobile number is kept, only so the one-time welcome offer cannot be claimed again by re-registering.
None of these records are used for marketing.
